My declarations

You can find the declarations that you have submitted in the last 90 days in the Import Declaration Service for private persons under My declarations.

You can log in to the service using your online banking ID codes, your mobile certificate or your certificate card.

On the page My declarations:

  • You can find the customs declarations that you have submitted in the Import Declaration Service for private persons in the last 90 days and the documentation related to them, such as customs clearance decisions, decisions on release and customs invoices.
  • You can make corrections to an uncompleted clearance, pay the import duties and taxes or respond to a request for additional information.
  • You can enclose documents to your declaration if Customs requests them in connection with the customs clearance.
  • You can check if your declaration has been processed.

Please note

  • If Posti or another transport company declared the parcel on your behalf, ask the company for the documents related to the customs clearance.
  • Your bank will provide a receipt on the customs clearance you have paid for.

Points to consider

If you have declared the parcel in the Import Declaration Service for private persons and it has been more than 90 days since you submitted the declaration, you will find your declaration and the related documents in the Customs Clearance Service.

For declaration search, you will need the MRN of your declaration, for example 21FIU000… When necessary, you can contact the Customs Information Service for obtaining the MRN. Make sure that you have the arrival ID or the transport document number before contacting the Customs Information Service.

  1. Log in to the Customs Clearance Service.
  2. Select the “Declaration search” tab. Select “MRN or other declaration reference” and write MRN number in the field “MRN or other declaration reference”. Choose your service channel “E-services”. Select “Search”.
  3. The clearance documents are on the “Summary and submission” page.

If you declared the parcel in the Customs Clearance Service, you will find your clearance and the related documents in the Service.

  1. Log in to the Customs Clearance Service.
  2. Proceed to the “Finished” tab and select the desired customs clearance. If you know the MRN of your customs clearance (for example, 22FIU000…), you can search your customs clearance on the “Declaration search” tab.
  3. The clearance documents are on the “Summary and submission” page.

Depending on the method of payment, it can take 2–3 banking days for the payment to be registered in Customs’ bank account. Our customers have experienced delays for example when they have paid for their customs clearances with the MobilePay app

When the payment has been registered, the customs clearance is complete and its status changes. When your customs clearance is complete, Customs will automatically notify most transport companies that the consignment can be delivered to you.

Please note Posti’s handling fee. Please visit the Posti website and check.
