Everything must be declared, in figures

From July, it has been mandatory to declare all consignments arriving from outside the European Union to Customs. This may lead to delays and backlogs in our customer service. You can check how busy our customer services are from our figures updated every weekday.

From July, it has been mandatory to declare all consignments arriving from outside the EU to Customs. Previously, the declaration requirement largely applied only to consignments with a value of more than 22 euros. This change means that millions of more consignments need to be declared annually. The figures are updated by 12 noon every weekday. The figures show the situation of the previous day for which figures are available.

The figures show all the contacts received by the Customs Information Service. The Customs Information Service serves Monday to Friday. The figures contain the contacts in all the languages in which we offer services.
