Import and export phase declarations now
In Finland, the import declarations for following procedures are submitted electronically to the import system of Customs or with a SAD form to a customs office: inward processing, outward processing that begins with import, end-use and temporary admission. In Finland, electronic export and re-exportation declarations are submitted to the export system of Customs.
Changes to import and export phase declarations
The data content of import declarations for following procedures will change: inward processing, outward processing that begins with import, end-use, temporary admission and re-import. In Finland, these declarations will be submitted to the new customs clearance system by the end of 2021. In Finland, export and re-export declarations will be submitted to the new customs clearance system of Customs, according to the planned schedule by 2023 at the latest.
The INF form, i.e. standardised exchange of information, now
The INF form must always be used when the processing starts with export (either outward processing EX/IM or inward processing with prior export EX/IM). The INF form must also always be used when the outward processing IM/EX or inward processing IM/EX involves more than one Member State. The INF form is a consecutively numbered paper form, which can be bought from Customs.
Changes to the INF form, i.e. standardised exchange of information
The INF forms will be replaced with electronic standardised exchange of information in summer 2020. The information now provided with INF forms will be submitted electronically to the EU system by logging in via the EU Trader Portal.
