Statistics on excise duties in Uljas database

Statistics on excise duties are published in the Customs’ Uljas database starting from May 2014.

Statistics on excise duties are published in the Customs’ Uljas database at http://uljas.tulli.fi starting from May 2014.

Excise duty statistics contain harmonised excise duties of the European Union as well as national excise duties starting from year 2004.

The statistics contain the amount and quantity of collected excise duties from products produced in Finland or imported to Finland from the EU or from outside the EU.

The harmonised excise duties include duty on alcohol and alcoholic beverages, tobacco duty, excise duty on liquid fuels and excise duty on certain fuels. The national excise duties include duty on sweets, ice cream and soft drinks, beverage container duty, oil waste duty, oil damage duty and landfill tax.

Taxation information is classified according to tax group, tax type and product.
