Information on web services
Almost all customs transactions can be done online. Customs web services are available to both private individuals and business customers. Business customers who have a high number of transactions use the Customs message exchange services.
Finnish Customs develops web services which are safe and easy to use on a customer-oriented basis, and ensures that customers are always informed about disruptions and alternative transaction methods. Customs services relating to identification, transactions on behalf of other parties, and payments are accessible via the “Suomi.fi” government service portal.
Customs’ customer information personnel gives assistance to service users by phone and email. As support for transactions, Customs also offers search engines and query services, as well as machine-language information services such as the FINTARIC commodity code service, and the ULJAS statistics service.
