Customs Clearance Service

The service requires identification and you need a mandate if you’re transacting on someone else’s behalf. The mandate used in the service is “Customs clearance”. Read more: How to identify yourself and grant authorisations

Customers who lodge import declarations and who have an authorisation for payment deferment, can obtain the release decision and customs clearance decision in the service straight away.

Customs’ cash customers, in turn, can only obtain the release decision after they have paid the customs invoice. Read more: How to pay a customs invoice
