Customs will not register new EORI applications from 28 February to 6 March 2018.
If your company during this time has business accordant with customs legislation that requires EORI registration, apply for the EORI number before the interruption, that is, no later than 27 February. Customs continues with EORI registrations normally from Wednesday, March 7.
The interruption is caused by the entry into force of EORI 2 data, which is part of the changes in customs legislation. The changes in EORI data from 5 March 2018 require updates to the data systems of the Commission and the Member States and at the same time, we will be updating the Customs systems.
