Goods can be transported via Nuijamaa under the TIR procedure as of 15 April 2018

The regulation issued by the Russian Ministry of Finance has updated the list of the border crossing points between Russia and third countries for TIR transports.

The regulation was published on 14 March 2018 and it will enter into force 30 days after its publication. In practice, goods can be transported again via Brusnitshnoje (Nuijamaa) under the TIR procedure as of 15 April 2018. The other possible border crossing points for TIR transports on the Finnish-Russian border are Svetogorsk, Torfjanovka, Inari, Värtsilä, Suoperä, Lotta, Salla and Lyttä.
