Changes in Customs’ systems on 26 November 2016 – Information for web declarants
The Customs systems will be upgraded on 26 November 2016. The upgrade will introduce the following changes in the user interface for web declarants.
Web AREX
- In the trader details of a declaration, a format check has been added to the field “Contact person’s email address”.
- The name of the “Lock” button, shown on the front page of declarations of customers who have logged in with a Katso ID, has been changed to “Lock and amend”.
Web Export
- In the future, customers can submit attachments to their export declaration directly via Custom’s Web Export application. Attachments can be submitted either when lodging the original export declaration or when amending it. The attachments are added and processed in a separate window. The additional statement code “FIXFU” relating to attachments is not shown among the additional statement codes in Web Export. Neither is the additional statement code printed on the decisions sent by Customs.
Web Transit
- You can use a maximum of eight (8) characters when providing the gross weight.
