Companies trading with the UK – now is the time to familiarise yourself with customs clearance and obtain an EORI number!
If the UK leaves the EU without an agreement, which would mean a “hard” Brexit, the UK becomes a so-called third country. This means significant changes in trade with the UK; after the UK withdraws from the EU, companies need to submit customs declarations and identify themselves with an EORI number for import and export transactions.
Read more about EORI numbers in our previous customer notice Brexit and the invalidation of EORI numbers granted by the United Kingdom.
