Finnish Customs will be holding an exercise for authorities at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport on Wednesday 11 December from 9 am. During the exercise, the public might notice an unusual presence of authorities at the airport.
The theme of the exercise is biological threats.
Participating in the exercise will be, in addition to Customs, the Finnish Border Guard, the Police, the Finnish National Institute for Health and Welfare, the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health, the Hospital District of Helsinki and Uusimaa (HUS), the City of Vantaa, Finavia and the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency.
