Publication date 22.12.2020 14.17
Press release

Due to Brexit, there will be service interruptions in all systems of Finnish Customs and the EU at the turn of the year. The systems cannot be used during the interruptions.

There will be a service interruption in all the systems of Finnish Customs from midnight to 1 am on 1 January 2021. The fallback procedure can be used during this time.

These EU-systems will be unavailable as follows:

  • BTI service for binding tariff information from 9 pm on 30 December 2020  to 4 pm on 1 January 2021
  • eAEO service for authorised economic operators from 9 am on 28 December to 4 pm on 1 January 2021
  • The INF service for special procedures from 9 pm on 31 December 2020  to 4 pm on 1 January 2021

Please note that you can use the CDS system for authorisations involving more than one Member State, but the application will be processed somewhat slower at Customs due to a system update (29 December 2020 to 1 January 2021).
